Forum #2
Sexual Harrassment
in Workplace
A forum where we discuss the potential areas of employment & job opportunities for psychology majors, in both public and private sectors in Malaysia, as well as the current issues and problems faced by fresh graduates who seek jobs in the field of psychology.
Sexual harassment in the workplace has a disproportionately negative impact on women's physical and emotional health. Therefore, our event aims to facilitate an understanding of workplace sexual harassment to ensure employers, workers and regulators play their part in achieving the forum’s theme of influencing positive change. With the goal of promoting awareness, the forum focuses on workplace sexual harassment risks, management, and prevention. We will be exploring and unfolding the untold experiences of sexual harassment for an in-depth discussion of these issues as well.

Workshop #1
Resume Writing
Job hunting is a phase that we will face once we graduated out of school or university, thus it is very important to master the art of resume writing. In this workshop, panelists will give beneficial hacks and tutorials on how to make your resume stand out from other applicants! Free materials will be given so participants could get maximum benefit from this workshop.
Workshop #2
Suicide Prevention
This interactive workshop will feature a remarkable clinical psychologist and a suicide prevention center founder as speakers that will closely touch about how to read the signs for suicidal behavior be it from ourselves or from others, as awareness is the key to suicide prevention. We will hear these two speakers exchange their opinions from different perspectives to give us more insights about the importance of suicide prevention. Participants will get to experience first hand simulations that could help them practice if they were to face similar instances in real life.
